On Friday 9th March classes 3 and 4 took part in a science day. Bob Bower from Architectre Workshops led workshops on building a viking longship. The children had a fantastic time and learnt so much about basic architecture from using only sticks and elastic bands. We were so impressed at what we could make working together. Please take a look at the gallery see to the building process.
During the afternoon classes 3 and 5 made and tested their own boats. They fairly tested these by adding marbles to the boats to discover which would hold the most. The winning boat held an impressive 112 marbles!
